Setting up your Browser

This tutorial describes show how to set up your internet browser so that it will work with Easy-Hide-IP. We are going to describe the steps for INTERNET EXPLORER, MOZILLA FIREFOX, GOOGLE CHROME and OPERA. GOOGLE CHROME uses the settings from Internet Explorer, so just set up IE ans Chrome will also be setup.



INTERNET EXPLORER


1 - start your Internet Explorer and go to TOOLS menu, INTERNET OPTIONS


2 - select CONNECTIONS tab and click LAN SETTINGS


3 - in the opened window click to select PROXY SERVER and fill in ADDRESS 127.0.0.1 and PORT 8081


4 - click OK and close the options menu; your Internet Explorer browser is ready.

If you wish to use your original IP, just follow these steps and uncheck PROXY SERVER option.

FIREFOX


1 - start Firefox and go to TOOLS menu, then select OPTIONS


2 - select ADVANCED tab and click SETTINGS


3 - in the opened window click to select MANUAL PROXY CONFIGURATION and fill in HTTP PROXY 127.0.0.1 and PORT 8081


4 - click OK and close the options menu; your Mozilla Firefox browser is ready.

If you wish to use your original IP, just follow these steps and for the last selection, use NO PROXY option.

OPERA


1 - start Opera and go to TOOLS menu, PREFERENCES (keyboard shorcut CTRL+F12)


2 - select ADVANCED tab, NETWORK menu and enter PROXY SERVERS option


3 - in the opened window click to select HTTP and fill in address 127.0.0.1 and PORT 8081


4 - click OK and close the options menu; your Opera browser is ready.

If you wish to use your original IP, just follow these steps and uncheck HTTP option (last step described).
